“BISHOP’S PREY” is a continuation of the series of conversations by Elizabeta Gojan, which she began with “The Queens  Gambit”. In “The Hunter’s Victim”, Elizabeta hosts gentlemen, and the first guest is musician and writer, the legendary Zoran Predin.

Zoran is a dear and regular guest of RAFF, and he talks to Elizabeta about his life and work, but also about his new book.

RAFF JUNIOR – “Bumblebee’s Summer”, a children’s film co-produced by Croatia, Serbia and North Macedonia

One flash from the sky, one secret lighthouse – and summer turns into the greatest adventure of your life! For the children from the islet of Trsa, the summer is endlessly monotonous until Karlo, the city’s “make-up artist” with a vivid imagination, arrives. His telescope picks up a mysterious flash in the night sky, so he leads the team – led by a jealous Bumblebee – on a nighttime search.

The film won the Audience Award at the Pula Film Festival.

RAFF TALK – PROPAGANDA: A DANGER THAT DOES NOT DISAPPEAR

The guests of the panel on the topic of propaganda will, of course, comment on the film “The Propagandist”, as a starting point for a discussion about whether time has an impact on the effects of propaganda, or whether we are in the same situation today as we were a hundred years ago. Margje de Koning, artistic director of one of the most important film festivals dealing with human rights “Movies that Matter”, journalist, professor from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb, Tena Perišin, who is also one of the initiators of the Investigative Journalism course at the faculty, and Tomislav Levak will participate in the discussion., journalist and lecturer at the Academy of Arts and Culture (Department of Culture, Media and Management) in Osijek, who teaches the course Disinformation in New Media.

The moderator of the panel is Vladan Petković, and it will be held in English.

As the south wind shakes Split, the lives of the residents of the dilapidated four-storey building begin to intertwine. A suspended professor, a paranoid old woman, a manipulative mother-of-belief, a failed rapper, and an abusive ex-boyfriend collide in a dark comedy of misunderstandings, petty intrigue, and growing chaos where even the “heroes” are villains in the eyes of their neighbors.

A former professional tennis player, Tom now works as a coach at a summer resort in the Canary Islands, where he tries to quell loneliness with alcohol and fleeting relationships. When a seemingly perfect British couple, Dave and Anne, arrives at the resort with their son Anton, Tom feels an inexplicable connection, but also an instinctive distrust, especially after Dave suddenly disappears.

In cooperation with the DOK’N’RITAM Belgrade Music Documentary Film Festival, founded in 2016 by music journalist Sandra Rančić, we are screening two films that have competed at this festival in previous years. The first is Rainey by Serbian director Miloš Tasić, about Marko Rainey, a guitarist from Niš who was born with one finger on his left hand, and shows how, through the struggle with his greatest insecurity, this young man grows into a local star and becomes a symbol of hope and perseverance. The second film is Travelers of BH. directed  by Mirza Ajnadžić, in which a group of Sarajevo musicians, through the Music in a Suitcase project, collaborates with migrants and nomads who are currently in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
