The final day of RAFF brings together conversation, socially engaged documentary film, the festival awards ceremony and a Cannes Grand Prix winner. The 8th Rab Film Festival concludes with Minotaur and RAFF Beat Classics.

10:00 – Festival Square Pjaceta | RAFF TALK BY ELIZABETA GOJAN: BISHOP SACRIFICE – LUKA PEROŠ

At 10:00, Elizabeta Gojan welcomes actor Luka Peroš to Festival Square Pjaceta for another edition of her Bishop Sacrifice talk programme.

12:30 – Cinema Rab | THE THING TO BE DONE

At 12:30, the programme continues with The Thing to Be Done, directed by Srđan Kovačević, winner of two Golden Arenas at the Pula Film Festival.

In a contemporary Europe increasingly dependent on cheap migrant labour, three remarkable individuals – Goran Lukić, Laura Orel and Goran Zrnić – join forces to speak on behalf of people whose voices are rarely heard. Through their small but persistent Workers’ Advocacy Office, they help exploited and deceived workers from around the world in their struggle for basic rights, justice and dignity.

20:15 – Open Air Cinema | 8TH RAFF AWARD CEREMONY + MINOTAUR

The evening begins with the 8th RAFF Award Ceremony, followed by Minotaur, the new film by acclaimed director Andrey Zvyagintsev.

Winner of the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, the film follows Gleb, a successful company director caught between mounting corporate pressure and an increasingly unstable world. As the pressure intensifies, his carefully ordered life begins to collapse and moves inexorably towards violence.

21:00 – Festival Square Pjaceta | RAFF BEAT CLASSICS

The 8th Rab Film Festival concludes at Festival Square Pjaceta with RAFF Beat Classics, with guitarist Saša Blue C.
