The penultimate day of RAFF brings together documentary film, music and thriller. From the morning screening of Amazomania to the evening screening of The Tigers, Tuesday offers three very different cinematic perspectives on the world.

At 11:00, at Festival Square Pjaceta, Elizabeta Gojan talks to Zoran Kesić as part of her Bishop Sacrifice programme.
12:30 – Cinema Rab | AMAZOMANIA
At 12:30, RAFF presents the Croatian premiere of Amazomania, directed by Swedish filmmaker Nathan Grossman.
The film revisits a 1996 expedition in which a Brazilian civil servant and a Swedish journalist ventured deep into the Amazon to meet the Korubo tribe. Years later, Grossman turns the camera back on the project itself, questioning the ethics of the undertaking, the white man’s gaze and the legacy of colonialism.
20:00 – Cinema Murnau | ONE MAN AVALANCHE
At 20:00, the documentary One Man Avalanche, directed by Slobodanka Radun, will be screened.
The film is a portrait of Dragoljub Đuričić, a drummer and one of the prominent musicians of the former Yugoslavia, whose life also opens up the story of the development of the regional rock scene from the 1960s onwards. His energy and performances also made him a symbol of protests against Milošević’s regime at the end of the 20th century.

20:15 – Open Air Cinema | THE TIGERS
At 20:15, RAFF presents The Tigers, directed by Spanish filmmaker Alberto Rodríguez.
Antonio and Estrella are brother and sister who have spent their entire lives at sea. After an accident threatens Antonio’s future as a professional diver, the discovery of cocaine hidden in the hull of an oil tanker seems to offer a way out – but instead leads them towards much greater trouble.
The Tigers is an underwater thriller in which the sea cannot hide anyone’s mistakes.
