Two short films by auteur enthusiasts who have shown with their dedication that even without major institutional support, their films can storm festivals or end up on the HBO platform. In their first film, Slice of Life, they show how they imagine a SF story in a utopian Los Angeles of the future. While in their second film, Splashback, they go back in time – to the time of the historic moon landing in 1969. However, warehouseman George at the then NASA is working on a completely different invention, a urinal screen to prevent splashback when men go to the toilet.
